Gos took command right from the start, dominating all areas of play, and the home side found it difficult to cope with the sweeping attacks made on their line. Owen Brown and James Holstead put in splendid performances as Gos ended the first half with Gos leading 34-0. The pick of the tries came from Tom Batley (after beating six players) and James Holstead (strong run down the right wing).
There was no let up in the second period. Gos continued to attack from all angles with both forwards and backs making the runs. Sean Pitt and Mesha Solanki had particularly good games, as did stalwarts Lewis Evans and Sam Yeardley who after one dazzling move selflessly provided a try for Daniel Sparshott to finish off in style. Dom Philo scored against his former team and Lewis Haines went over for his second try of the game. The final score of 65-0 reflected an excellent all-round team performance with everybody making a contribution.
