Gosport & Fareham RFC has been made aware of a social media post currently circulating, advertising a community meeting organised by a group identifying itself as the “Gosport Patriots”, which states that the meeting is due to take place at Gosport Rugby Club on Sunday 27th September at 20:00.

We would like to make it absolutely clear that Gosport & Fareham RFC, its affiliates and members have no involvement or association with the organisation of this event.

Furthermore, no agreement, permission or authorisation has been given by the club for this meeting to take place at our premises.

The use of Gosport Rugby Club as the advertised venue has been made without the knowledge or consent of the club.

We kindly ask that anyone who has seen or shared the original post is made aware of this clarification to prevent any further confusion or misunderstanding.
