On my recent trip to Colombo, Sri Lanka, writes Alan Foulger, I was able to leave a piece of Peter Tomlinson's Barmy Army cricketing memorabilia in a very suitable resting place on top of the Barmy Army drum in the Cricket Club Cafe, Colombo. Australian Gabby, the owner was pleased to accept the hat in honour of Peter.
