Match vs Portsmouth

It falls to me to write the players corner for this week and the match against Portsmouth.

Well what a match, the day didn't get off to the best of starts with only 15 players out of the 18 selected turning up and during the warm up two lads getting injured.

The matches started off slowly as the team got into the game, but then as we geled together the moves in the backs started to work and with the fast feet of Tim, we were scoring tries. Josh instigated the moves with deadly finishing from Jo, Adam, Ritchie and Cameron to name but a few. All in all we scored 10 tries to their 1.

The team worked well together and the fact we all stayed on the field of play for the entire game helped us all to settle into the flow of play.

A big thanks to our coaches for their words of encouragement throughout the game and getting me to stand in the right place whilst playing outside centre, a position I could grow to like.

See you in the New Year boys as I am off to Australia tomorrow for Christmas. Keep playing hard..
