Saxons and Heathens Tough It out in a Storm

The Saxons hosted old friends Heathens for another epic battle in the worst weather conditions seen for a while. It was bitterly cold with driving rain on a heavy muddy pitch, but the players alll loved it and got stuck in. The Saxons were pretty dominant from the start, but the Heathens stuck at it and were rewarded with two good tries. The Saxons and Heathens are good friends on and off the pitch and share coaching sessions and look to develop both teams, so it was good that they shared this experience in testing conditions. 8 of the Saxons nine tries were ecored by the backs and all were converted, which was remarkable given the conditions.
