Weekend of Mixed Fortunes for the U14s

A depleted Gosport & Fareham lost their latest friendly match 43-0 against Pulborough. Gos were missing eight players who were attending the Hampshire trials at Eastleigh and this proved too much to bear against their very accomplished visitors. Pulborough were quick off the mark and ran in six tries before Gos could settle down and get in the game. With all the points scored in the first period Gos performed much better in the second half without seriously threatening the try-line.

Congratulations, however, to all the players representing Gosport & Fareham at the Hampshire U14 trials and special plaudits to Tom Batley, George Firth, Tom Rimmer, Craig Taylor, and Sam Yeardley who progressed through to the next stage
