Gos played some fine running rugby in the first half and tries from Tom Batley and Lewis Evans (2) resulted in a 17-10 half time lead. However, Fordingbridge proved how good and strong they are with a powerful pack performance in the second half. With the rain driving down, the visitors scored a try to narrow the lead and then in the latter stages pinned Gos back on the own try line. Fortunately, Gos held out with some determined and solid defence.
