Unfortunately due to circumstance beyond Ravens control the second game of the day was scheduled at the same time as the Bournemouth fixture. The intention had been to play Bournemouth and then use the 25 player squad to fulfil the second fixture. That didn't happen and 10 Gosport Players had to borrow from the opposition to make up a team and play Lychetts A XV.
All represented themselves and the club well with grit and determination but it was too big a mountain to climb to take on the oppositions well drilled and established team.
Assistant Manager Arthur Rabjohn personally thanked all ten for their efforts and apologised for putting them in that position. Tries by Samuel Rushent and Owen Harper showed that they were in the game.
