Riley Clarke, William Hosell and Ben Gray all showed that they can carry and make ground today, but too often were isolated after they made the again line because the support just wasn't following up. Trojans attacked well with a proficient back line and Ravens centres went missing too often leaving the wings exposed. Both Gregor House and Owen Harper played their part but were overwhelmed and the cover behind them rarely made to necessary tackles. A well worked try by George Smith got them back into the game and after half time Ben Wheeler fresh off the bench took a great line on the half way and ran in an excellent try. It looked like Ravens may win the second half after being 22-5 down at the break. However too many errors and wrong options just made the job too hard for them and Trojans score twice more to close out the game 34-12. Ben Gray was rightly recognised as Player of the Match by Trojans for his tackling and carrying before he went off injured.
