Ten tries across the score sheet entertains both sets of parents.

Always good to play our nearest neighbours and today both clubs U16's played with a passion for their clubs and the game of rugby. Ravens started well and built to their first try four minutes in when Matt Hughes went over having got on the end of a well place kick over Heathens defence. Five minutes later Aaron Spiteri forced his way over after a good attacking phase by Ravens backs. Ravens penalty count was going against them and Heathens stayed in touch kicking two successfully. Mark Hearn scrambled over after another series of attack phases by Ravens to close out the first half 15-6 ahead.
Ravens came out strong from the break having made a couple of changes and after Tyler Jolly was stopped short of the line Ethan Hammond dived the short side to score in the corner. Heathens were not giving up and when they ran a quick penalty Ravens failed to react and the fly half went in from 20 metres out unopposed. It took six minutes for Ravens to react when Tom Ellis broke the Heathens defence to score under the posts and Connor Cox converted the only conversion of the day as five different kickers tried to add the extra points. Heathens weren't out of the game and when they scored next to get within seven points it looked like the game may have a tense finish but it appeared to be a last effort by the team that was struggling to match the Ravens when they put consistency into their game. Gregor House finished a good series of passes along the back line to run in from 30 metres out beating three defenders. Heathens didn't give up and it still took several phases for Ravens to break through twice more in the last ten minutes with tries for George Smith and Connor Cox. Final score 42-20 to Ravens.
Gregor House received the nomination from Heathens as the Ravens player of the game.
