Ok here is a brief report from Fordingbridge. After a long drive in the happy bus, 15 players took to the field in very wet conditions. At first it looked like the match reporter might stay in the van with her flask of tea and a very good view. However after Tom Bale put the first points on the board the rain stopped and she ventured out. The second try came from a series of pick and go's which ended with James Ellis going over the line. Try three appeared after the speedy legs of Kieran Darrington ran from the half way line. Half time score 15 - 0. Second half started as the first had began, with rain, and the van was looking very appealing again. However after a frantic chip and chase from Captain Dom Holling who just managed to get his hand on the ball for try number four. The firth and final try was a well deserved try by Jamie Wandless who had a fantastic game. Up until this point the conversions had been alluding us, but Dom slotted the extras to a big roar from the crowd. A few minor other points, Tom Rimmer's help with referering was not needed, apparently and the after match food was very tasty, final score 27 - 0. Attendance approximately 20 people and 3 dogs (away support) with a scattering of home supporters and no dogs.
