As expected following the cancellation of our friendly against Portsmouth for tomorrow the weather has tried to destroy both As & Saxons preparations for the county cup matches - but it's not that easy to thwart us.

Don't tell anyone but we've found a small patch of Hampshire that appears to be above the water line, at least for now.

Training will go ahead tomorrow barring a meteor strike on the grass in front of the Old Ship at Lee-On-Solent.

Please all wrap up with enough layers (to save Dave Smith mentioning it tomorrow) bring woolly hats, a change of clothes & something to prevent your parents' cars getting grubby.

Mums, dads & travelling groupies, I'm sure there'll still be a decent enough view from the Old Ship where rumour has it they serve a grand cuppa.
