We have won a grant of £500 from this scheme to put towards materials to do up our clubhouse. Please volunteer a couple of hours of your time to help YOUR club. Here is Tony's message, please circulate to all members and let's not waste the opportunity!!

I am trying to put a working party for the weekend off 22nd/23rd June for the NatWest RugbyForce, Sandy has managed to get £500 from them for the club. We are looking to do the showers in changing room 1 plus anything else we can do around the club on that weekend.

What i am asking for is volunteers to help with any jobs we can get done, skilled/unskilled, our primary goal will be changing room 1 showers. Other jobs that i will be trying to get done our as follows, but depends on volunteer numbers.

Changing room 1 showers
· Recover the walls
· New flooring
· New shower heads
· New shower valves
· Paint the ceilings in the showers and changing areas

Other jobs around the club
· Rub down and paint all the external doors
· Tied up outside around the club
· Clean all the guttering and repair where necessary
· Re-paint the walls in the main hall in the club
· Re-paint the main entrance to the club
· Install a roof over the bin store

Can you please ask you to send out to members of your age group if they can spend some time to help, doesn’t have to be all day, an hour here or there will help.

We are also looking for any help obtaining any materials either donations/cost or if anyone now and shops that might help sponsor us for this.

If you could let me know if any people are willing to help, what date and times and also skills if any so i can sort out some sort of programme and projects we could get done.

There will be tea’s, coffee’s and bacon butties on the go
