Huge congratulations to our very own Gosport & Fareham U16's - The Ravens who have completed a two week tour in Canada. They have played 4 matches and come out victorious in all of them. First game was against Guelph Redcoats winning 72-5, they then followed this up against Peterborough Pagans denying their opposition any points taking the game 50 - 0. For the third game they were hosted by Niagara Wasps where the The Ravens winning ways kept on rolling with an emphatic 62 - 21 scoreline.
The best game was saved till last as The Ravens faced the Ontario champions the Oakville Crusaders. This turned out to be the game of the tour as the opposition demonstrated why they were the local champions and tested the Gosport lads to the full. But they dug deep and despite a few injuries finished the game with a 22-12 scoreline.
Tour manager Arthur Rabjohn summed up the tour:

"they have gone 4 wins from 4 games on tour … they have created a new Gosport & Fareham RFC moment of history. Huge thank you to the coaches, first aider / photographer and supporting adults who made my job easier over the last 12 days.
Most of all thank you to the young men who have been magnificent on the pitch and off it."
