GFRFC Ravens (U14) 7's team travelled to the New Milton RFC 7's in good spirits, but soon found themselves struggling with only 10 players of the squad present and then reduced to 9 when Ed Bell exited the first game with a broken thumb. However, in the first game Ravens ran out winners 42-0 against Fordingbridge. The pool draw was a hard one with New Milton and Tottonians in the same side of the competition. Ravens matched New Milton for tries but lost out by 4 points due to missed conversions. They struggled against the county runners up but did score twice against them before losing out 27-12.
Ravens regrouped and set out to win the Plate competition. They started with a 41 - 0 win over Ellingham & Ringwood to secure the Final place. In the final against Trojans they didn't get it all their own way as at half time it was 12-12. But Ravens scored quickly to take the lead and held it to end adding tries and conversions to win comfortably 31-17.
The team represented GFRFC well every player played in at least 4 of the 5 games with most of them playing in every one. They scored 153 points and conceded 65. The squad added to their personal statistics for the season with:
1 Try Fin Daly
1 Try Joe Wilkinson
3 Tries & 1 Conversion Ben Wheeler
4 Tries Connor Cox
4 Tries & 1 Conversion Aidan Jarvis
6 Tries & 3 Conversions Tom Ellis
