Because we're anticipating the dell at Gosport Park to still be a mudbath & unplayable, we have arranged for Wednesday's midweek training session to be held on 3G all weather pitches at Holbrook Leisure Centre in Gosport.

We're having to pay for the privilege of using the pitch so I would be grateful if you could each bring along a £1 contribution to the session. The session will run from 1800 - 2000 (we can only book in whole hour slots). I have been advised I can get use of a changing room as well so if you need to lock anything away, it can be done.

So - if you could aim to turn up shortly before 1800 that would be great. Clearly, at this stage, some may not be able to get there until normal time but given that you'll all be saving a little fuel & will have marginally less traffic to get through, I'm hoping the arrangements suit.

Rules for the use of the pitch.

WE ARE NOT ALLOWED to wear any metal studs on the pitches, so any plastic blades, or any other plastic moulded studs are fine. I've also been told that trainers are usually fine on the pitches & won't slide all over the place.

This is an experiment for us guys so if it doesn't work, we won't repeat it. We're just looking for another option in light of this awful weather we're having.
