Under 13s win the Wasps Community Sevens Shield

Gosport & Fareham Under 13s are celebrating after winning the London Wasps Community Sevens shield in their first ever 7s competition.

The Under 13s gave Head Coach Pony Moore the perfect leaving present as they conquered Gayhurst School 7-2 in the final of the Shield competition.

After taking a few games to get the hang of playing Sevens rugby, Gosport & Fareham finally came into their own and showed that they can compete with the very best. Gos produced a great all-round performance where all the players can take the plaudits and this was reflected with every player being named 'Man of the Match'.

The London Wasps Community 7s Cup provides valuable experience of the 7s game to youngsters, helping in their rugby development and working towards developing the stars of the future.
