Gosport & Fareham's 1st XV face a home match against Basingstoke RFC this weekend in what head coach George Hillan knows will be another tough match. "Whilst last week's cancelled fixture against US Portsmouth has given a number of injured players time to recover, the lack of availability this weekend has meant another reshuffle in the lineup. The three quarters in particular are likely to have a completely new look but the players have worked hard in training and are looking forward to the challenge that we know Basingstoke RFC will bring".

Matt Forfar starts at fly half with Adam Henderson moving to the inside centre, Calum Griffiths remains outside him and Robert Ellis and Joe Collard are on each wing. Jamie Gerathy wears the 15 shirt. The pack is able to retain a more consistent lineup and looks strong with skipper Aiden Price returning on the flank and Jimmy Wallis also returning to the first XV at hooker.
