Match week five and following a week’s break and after playing most of the rugby clubs in and around Weybridge, Gosport & Fareham RFC’s 1st XV host a club a little closer to home this weekend as Andover visit Gosport Park.

The team’s focus this week has been built around finding that little bit more accuracy and composure in the scoring zone in order to be able to turn the positive attitude and possession stats from previous matches into their first win of the season.

The week’s break has also enabled the full senior squad to bolster its playing ranks with the net result being that both the 1st & 2nd VX are able to field full squads with far less availability issues than the coaches have had to deal with leading up to previous matches.

Whilst the 1st XV are able to select the same 10, 12 & 13 from the last match, Red Blaylock moves to the 10 position this week whilst Dom Holling moves to inside centre and takes the skipper's armband in the absence of usual captain Aiden Price.

The 2nd XV also field a strong side as they take a trip to Romsey RFC.
