We are set for a great day tomorrow, bright sunshine, no wind and plenty of rugby. No news from Winchester or Andover, so expect pitches to be playable and no rain forecast between now and then. It will be cold first thing, 4 or 5 deg C, but warming to a lovely 8 deg C.

Make sure you have packed your Gumshield/mouthguard NOW! No Gumshield, no play.

Wear lots of layers and have trackie trousers over shorts so you can take them off for the matches.

For those at Winchester, bring snacks as I hope is a long day (in the Cup or Plate final). For those at Andover, enjoy the hot dog! (had one last year)

For those travelling from Gosport/Alverstoke/Lee area, expect road closures for the Gosport half marathon.

Matches/training starts at 1000 sharp, so 0945 ready to go please.

Toms Top Tips

1. Stay in play – Step in side and accept the tackle and create space for your support players

2. Careful Passes – Always backwards, get eye contact with the player you are passing to

3. Protect the ball when being tackled – Big cuddles for the ball keep it yours!

4. Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!
