The U9s were fortunate to be allowed to play a curtain raiser prior to the semi-final match on Saturday.
Richard Daly introduced the U9s to the head coach for the First team and also team captain, they also had a tour of the changing rooms, seeing the pegs and the match plan. Though they were more taken with the sweets and cakes that were on offer!
We had a very brief time on the pitch prior to the match as the first team's warm up over ran. Nonetheless an exciting opportunity.
Callum took a bump to the head following a tackle and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure, however returned to see GFRFC win their place in the final.
The team went round the spectators who braved the cold rattling collection buckets for our team tour next season. A WHOOPING £111.70 was raised. A big thank you to the generous spectators and supporters.
Well done!
