Gosport Colts continue winning ways with a home victory against Aldermaston RFC. In front of their loyal home support Gos had to overcome a dogged and spirited Aldermaston outfit on their first visit to Gosport Park. Gos were made to work hard for this 29-12 victory after going in at half time 15-5 to the good. Second half saw Aldermaston pegging Gos back in their own 22 for the first 25mins forcing 3 held ups before Aldermaston finally breached the Gos defence. At 15-12 Aldermaston now had their tails up, but this breach in our defence seemed to stir Gos into moving up a couple of gears and soon re-took control of the game by crafting 2 well worked tries to kill off any thoughts Aldermaston had of leaving Gosport Park with the win.
