Gosport Saxons enjoy Training and Success at Fareham Heathens

A team from Saxons, most of who had played at Poole the previous day, joined Fareham Heathens for some joint training and a match at their nearby ground. Despite some tired legs, the Saxons gave a great account of themselves and enjoyed some dynamic attacking and applied ferocious defending. The breaks definitely went the Saxons way and they were able to score convincingly and only conceded 1 try, finishing the extended match 9 - 1. The Saxons were hosted well by our neighbours and we look forward to the return session at Gosport Park at the end of April.
