Ceded 15th, but victory over 5th cede Farnborough.

A great team performance with a well desreved result.
- Louise Rabjohn - Team Manager
So having been unceded and drawn an away fixture against 5th cede Farnborough I the GFRFC Ravens (U13) knew they had their work cut out to get a win from this game. Injuries and a bug at schools had impacted both teams but there was no doubt that Farnborough were undoubted favourites. The Ravens soaked up the pressure for first 10 minutes and the key players of Farnborough at 10, 14 and 15 were kept out. Then after 4 phases of play Euan Archbold crashed through the last 22m and slammed down the ball for a try. 5-0 to Ravens at Half Time. Euan and Ben Wheeler continued to carry in channel 1 and soon the Ravens backs began to dominate the game. As the pack won the break downs Harry Rabjohn began to direct play in attack. Tries by Aidan Jarvis (2), Aaron Spiteri, Harry Rabjohn and Tom Ellis close out the game with an emphatic win 30-5 for Ravens; a tremendous team performance.
Ed Bell made significant contribution to the teams performance and Joe Wilkinson, when he came on, kept the teams performance on track. After the match the opposition choose Ben Wheeler as Man of the Match which was supported by the match statistics which had him leading on carries with 7 and 5 significant tackles. He was unlucky not to have been awarded a try that was deemed to have been held up.
A great team performance with all substitutes taking to the pitch by the end of the game.
