A great trip out of county with very welcoming hosts with a tremendous club set up. Three 25 minutes were played to give all 47 players present a run. The A sides ran out against each other a Salisbury opened the scoring but Ravens kept in touch with tries from Tom Ellis and Ben Wheelers. Tom, after a great run from inside his own half from slick handling by the backs, touched down under the posts and Harry Rabjohn converted. Salisbury added two more tries to steal the first session 15 - 12.
Ravens swapped out their team for the B team and with many new players struggled against the well balanced. Salisbury added 5 more tries to their tally converting 2 of them.
Ravens rebalanced their team for the 3rd session and re-entered the contest with two tries by Euan Archbold keeping them in touch with Salisbury who continued to run in tries. Session ended 17 - 10 to Salisbury.
Taking out the middle session the final score of 32-22 to Salisbury would be a good reflection on the days rugby.
A good learning experience for the team with some very strong performances with special mention for Baily Starky who tackled like a person 3 times his size. Salisbury selected Harry Rabjohn as Man of the Match from Ravens with a strong recognition of Ben Wheeler.
