The Ravens came out firing and showed they had learnt from last weeks rucking lesson from Andover. New Milton threatened but at half time the score was 0-0.
2 minutes into second half the wall was breeched as missed tackles let New Milton in for the first score of the game. Heads went down and with the visitors now moving to ball wider the back line lost its shape. With the full back missing New Milton were clinical an exploited the lack of defence in depth and added a brace in the 6th & 7th minutes. Ravens seemed to return to the fight but couldn't get the score they deserved. In the dying minutes New Milton scored two more to close out the game.
Ravens now look to the opportunity the Plate competition offers.
