Hard game

Portsmouth came for a friendly at home. The weather had been kind to us having rained over night but luckily for us had stopped so that the game could go on. It was a very hard and physical game against Portsmouth who put up a very strong defence against any and all of the boys attacking game play.
We had to play a few boys out of there normal position due to injuries and trying out a different squad. Portsmouth were very physical and strong in there game play and ran in four tries in the first half and five in the second half.
I think the boys are ready for the little winter rest. We have a couple of weeks off now and then back in the new year
