Gosport 8, Ed Bell made his tackle but the ball was off loaded to the NM scrum half who drew the winger and with great hands offloaded out of the tackle to support. However, this gave them plenty of rucking practice to win it back and they began to dominate. Up front Harry Freeman, Finley Daly and Samuel Rushent were now dominant and the scrum platform gave Ravens most of the possession. Jonathan Lewis showed how important the supporting runner is, 17-5 at the next break to Ravens.
Four minutes into the last session Harry Rabjohn danced passed 4 players to break free to score a try which he converted. Errors again crept into the game and NM fought hard for the craps; they were rewarded with a try that was converted. Euan Archbold broke free to gallop up the pitch to cries of go on Red Rum from the Team Manager and scored under the posts, the conversion was good. Ben Wheeler closed out the game with another try after a storming run. Final score 36-12 to Ravens.
