Wimborne arrived at Gosport Park and impressed as big lads walked towards the changing room, unfortunately they didn't have enough that were confident to play contested scrums so the coaches agree to uncontested scrums. Ravens thrived off the stable platform and took four minutes for Tom Ellis to run in the first try that Harry Rabjohn converted. The Ravens then set about building a phased attack from their solid defence and tries soon came from Aidan Jarvis, Ben Wheeler and Euan Archbold with only one conversion missed from three by Aidan Jarvis. Half time 26 - 0 for Ravens. The half time talk and a couple of changes for Wimborne seemed to work as they came out firing from the kick-off and after 10 minutes scored their first try. Harry Rabjohn steadied the ship with a brace of tries for Ravens and Euan Archbold added his second. Tom Archer ran one in from his own half and Aidan Jarvis kicked three from four to establish Ravens on 52 - 5. Wimborne never gave up and deservedly had the last word with a well scored try and excellent conversion to close the game at 52 - 12.
