Twelve U15 sevens teams, 120 young players, came together at Gosport Park in what is probably the first XRugby tournament played in England. Across 36 games 206 tries were scored as the teams played in two pools to decide the playoffs in the Cup, Shield, Plate and Bowl competitions.
In the Bowl Final G&FRFC Ravens found themselves up against their teammates and guest players in the Barbarians side. In a tremendous contest they came away winners 36-28.
In the Plate Final Tottonians RFC won out against Shoreham RFC 24-12.
In the Shield Final Crusaders from Saracens Amateur RFC played the Average Joes from Horsham RFC and came away winners in a tight 14-7 victory.
The Cup Final was between Newbury Blues RFC and Warlocks from Winchester RFC and it was a worthy final game with the Blues finally securing the win 38-26.
