It's been a frustrating couple of weeks for Gosport & Fareham. Following the defeats two weeks ago, the players were not given the chance to avenge these results due to Winchester giving Gos a walkover in the cup. The fixture was going to allow the coaching staff to see new combinations and units due to injuries sustained over the last few games and players who are not available due to family commitments.

During the last two weeks training sessions, the players have utilised the sessions to develop the areas they identified from their last games. They continue to be committed to taking the club forward on the pitch and their attitude in training and application is to be commended especially on Tuesday when the coaching staff pushed them hard for the full session. It was at this point the coaching staff observed how the players have developed and are able to identify and react to the current situation when fatigued.

So we go into this weekends fixtures in the correct mental mindset and look forward to the challenge that Old Reigatians and Bognor will provide.
