GOSPORT & FAREHAM IS FIRST RUBGY CLUB IN ENGLAND
TO BENEFIT FROM MITSUBISHI MOTORS KIT 4 CLUBS SCHEME

Gosport & Fareham RFC took a special delivery recently as Ben Sutherland from
Sparshatts Mitsubishi of Fareham delivered new rugby balls and contact wedges as
part of the Kit 4 Clubs scheme from Mitsubishi Motors in the UK.
The initiative, which has been rolled out nationwide, is designed to support grassroots
performance with an array of new equipment and kit – all in return for club members,
players or supporters taking test drives from any vehicle in the Mitsubishi range.
Gosport & Fareham RFC are the first club to benefit from the scheme in England.
Produced by Official England Rugby Partners, Canterbury and Gilbert, the kit available
for clubs to earn includes essential items such as playing jerseys, training tops, rain
jackets, practice bibs, balls, contact wedges and more.
Ben Sutherland, Sales Manager, Sparshatts Mitsubishi said: “It’s a brilliant way to help
support the club, particularly the juniors who really are the future of the game.
Sparshatts are very proud to be involved in the scheme and hope to be able to make a
few more deliveries like this throughout the season!”
Neil Fisher, Club Coaching Co-Ordinator, Gosport & Fareham RFC said: “The new kit
is a huge help to a club like ours and we’re thankful to Sparshatts Mitsubishi and all of
our club members who helped make it happen”.
The Kit 4 Clubs initiative further strengthens the commitment of Mitsubishi Motors to
England Rugby, which encompasses all aspects of the game, from the performance
partnership at elite level to supporting volunteers at grassroots level via schemes like
Kit 4 Clubs.
