both 1st XV & 2nd XV at Gosport Park

whilst also getting the players to be more ruthless

Gosport & Fareham, are looking forward to welcoming Twickenham RFC to Gosport Park on Saturday 12 January. Following the performance at Twickenham earlier in the season, the players have a psychological advantage over the opposition, as their coaching staff admitted they had a very lucky escape and G&F deserved to win - plus the added mindset that Twickenham coaching staff are not looking forward to coming to Gosport Park on a Winters Saturday afternoon!

This week the players have spent their time addressing key areas of our play and structure highlighted by the video analysis. So training has been directed at these areas, whilst also getting the players to be more ruthless and focus their minds on taking as many league points available to us with only 10 fixtures remaining. This will ensure we are able to enjoy the last few games without the worry of league survival.

We are also using this New Year and being halfway through the current season as a point to review the season so far on and off the pitch. This will allow the coaching staff and players, to set new targets/goals.

We also welcome Bognor RFC to Gosport Park and the players are ready for the challenge they possess.

Due to availability, there will be more changes to the squads with some players playing in positions they are not used to playing, but it does not weaken the squads and allow returning players valuable game time.

Both teams kick off at 2pm.
